The idea of this preseason mock draft is to list the teams from 1-32 regardless of conference and then try to predict which piece would push them to the next level based on last year’s draft needs. I understand it isn’t a perfect system, and I will have it fixed by week one of the real season.

So only 5 NFC teams will make the playoffs? Or is one of the AFC teams transferring to the NFC? Also, last 4 teams to pick is from the NFC… this is somewhat dumb if you ask me. At least get the conferences correct PLEASE!

Pretty close to what I had, essentially you are taking out Taylor Lewan and Luke Joeckel for those two, which I think is fine it’s just personal preference. All in all it seems very possible at this point.

Jacksonville-Matt Barkley, 2.Arizona-Logan Thomas, 3.-Miami-Robert Woods. 4.Minnesota-Sam Montgomery, 5.- St. Louis-Star Lotulelei, 6.-Cleveland- Jarvis Jones, 7.-Indianapolis-Keenan Allen,8.-Oakland-Tyler Wilson, 9.-St.Louis (from Washington)-Jake Matthews, 10.-Kansas City- Tyler Bray. Let me know what you think? I have been sending my mock drafts to friends I wewnt to college with every april for the last 18 years. They all still look forward to my predictions. A good way to keep in touch also!

I really like your mock draft! My only disagreement is that I believe Star from Utah and Sam Montgomerty will both be top 5 picks come next April. I also was to small to ply college football, but have followed the NFL Draft closely since !988. Iam 42 now, and a die hard Rams fan. I look forward to your updated mock drafts the next 9 months!
